The process is simple. Once you see an influential person don a King & Bay raw silk jacquard smoking jacket, click back to our Exclusives page where the jacket will appear so that you can start bidding.

If you are the winning bidder, a congratulations email will be sent your way as well as further instructions to how to collect your brand new smoking jacket.

Schedule a time with us to provide your measurements (either by appointment in our lounge or a video call).

Once your measurements are taken, you will receive another email regarding your trial fitting, which can either be done in person or via video call.

Four weeks after your trial fitting, the process will be complete and the garment will be sent to you.

The entire process takes approximately 8–10 weeks.

With our tailors able to craft anything imaginable, we don’t want to limit you to the same style/customizations as the jacket shown on the bidding image. You can customize the jacket any way you like. Add a contrasting lapel, choose your button style, lining, inside embroidery, and more!

These raw silk fabrics are very delicate since the patterns are handwoven into the silk. This means that dry cleaning, spot cleaning, and pressing are not recommended. We recommend giving your jacket a light steam to get rid of any wrinkles or signs of use.
